Today EODS opened the workshop for Election Analysts (EA) in European Union Election Observation Missions (EOMs). The goal of this workshop is to increase knowledge and awareness of the existing methodological frame for the position of EA and foster consistency in the assessment of the key areas pertaining to this role. An additional objective is discussing and comparing current practices for electoral analysis and methodological developments recently introduced in EU EOMs.
The workshop gathers 13 experienced analysts to deepen knowledge and share experiences related to the main areas of work of election analysts, including voter registration, ICTs, election day observation, reporting and recommendations.
