A five-day training of trainers seminar for the League of Arab State (LAS) was launched by EODS on 19 November in Cairo. The event was formally opened by Ms Hadia Sabry, LAS Director of Electoral Affairs Department. The seminar allowed for the exchange of experience in training methodology for election observers between EU and LAS. Some ten participants from Egypt, Kuwait, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Iraq and Yemen took part along with the EODS facilitators from France, Italy and Jordan.
