Webinars
Short on-line gatherings that intend to raise awareness of the EU EOM community about emerging issues and also to respond to the high level of interest in receiving more information on areas of rapidly developing methodology. Typically, EODS Webinars will last up to 90 minutes and an expert on the relevant field will be invited as keynote speaker.
On Democracy Day 2024, five noted Organizations launched the Model Commitments for Advancing Genuine and Credible Elections, with eight other key organizations around the globe joining as Supporters. The Model Commitments (MCs) present six overarching commitments covering: genuine elections, legal frameworks, election administration, electoral accountability, information integrity, and international engagement, with 49 detailed commitments under those topics. While no country would likely meet all MCs, they provide a basis for consensus building, within countries and in international forums, about improving election processes.
