As part of a new training cycle aimed at members of the core team of the European Union Election Observation Missions (EU EOMs), the Election Observation and Democracy Support (EODS III) project organized a training for the position of Legal Analyst from 17 until 20 September 2024. The 4-day activity was held at EODS office in Brussels and gathered 12 participants from EU Member States, including nationals from Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania and Spain. This was a EODS Phase III second training focused on the tasks and responsibilities of the Legal Analyst, within a new cycle of beginner courses targeting eligible applicants with little or no core team experience in EU EOMs. Such trainings aim to strengthen the EU Election Observation Mission methodology and provide the necessary skills and knowledge to work as a member of the core team in EU EOMs.
