IBF was founded in Belgium in 1977. The company works on projects financed by international organisations such as the European Commission, the World Bank, the African and the Asian Development Bank, both in developing and transition countries. IBF has built a recognised reputation for its knowledge, flexibility, creativity, and ability to successfully implement projects within its core sectors – in particular, institutional strengthening, justice and human rights, education and socio-economic development. Based in Brussels, with an annual turnover of about 25 million euro, IBF currently employs 70 full time staff and over 250 experts in the field.
