The European Union Election Observation Mission to Timor-Leste issued a Preliminary Statement on the 20 March Presidential Elections. The EU EOM, which was deployed to Timor-Leste on 13 February, will remain in country to observe the legislative elections as well as post-election developments. The statement is available here.
