During the four-day activity, participants were introduced to topics relevant to the work of a DCO in an EU EOM, with a focus on the role and responsibilities, leadership and managerial skills, communication and media relations, drafting EU EOM reports and recommendations, team dynamics and interpersonal skills.

The course was ably facilitated by experienced trainers, as well as relevant officials from the Service for Foreign Policy Instruments (FPI), European External Action Service (EEAS), and the European Parliament, in addition to EODS staff and an external consultant on team dynamics.
