EODS attended the training for Long-Term Election Observers organised by the ODIHR from 8 to 12 May 2017 in Sarajevo. The training aimed at providing participants with the tools and skills to carry out their work according to the ODIHR election observation methodology. The main topics covered during the training included: Commitments and Standards on Elections; Technology in Election Observation; Mission Structure, Staff and Reports; LTO Observation and Reporting; ODIHR Code of Conduct; STO Logistics and Reporting, Including on E-day; Communicating with Interpreters & Working with Drivers. Some 28 trainees from 15 Participating States attended the training.
