EODS Communications Coordinator, Cláudia Aranda, joined the European Union Election Observation Mission (EU EOM) in Mozambique in October 2024. The visit aimed to provide support to the team on media monitoring methodology, as well as consolidate strategies related to communications and visibility in EU EOMs. On election day, 9 October, the key expert teamed up with colleagues, Frederik Schumann, and Ana Garcia Saguar, of Service for Foreign Policy Instruments (FPI), to observe opening of polling stations, voting and counting.
