On 6-7 February 2014, following the Seminar on Election Day observation organised in November 2013, EODS held a workshop on election observation forms, which led to the adoption of a new set of form templates.
Participants discussed to identify standard observation forms structure and gather material for forms customisation by core teams. In this regard, EODS developed a set of form templates.
The EODS team has developed a new software for observation forms customisation with a view to introduce the use of tablets by EU observers in 2014. In parallel to the discussion, the EODS IT presented to the participants how to use the software that will be used by core teams in order to customise observation forms. The software will allow the forms to be uploaded at a later stage onto tablets, and to be completed offline and saved.
