Yesterday, EEAS, FPI and EODS staff briefed the ten members of the Core team for the EU EOM to Liberia. The Mission is deployed to observe the 10 October presidential elections. The briefing held by EODS concerned the overall methodological frame for election observation and the Practical Core Team Guidelines to observe specific areas such as campaign finance, online content, participation of persons with disabilities and women's participation in the electoral process. A specific briefing session was devoted to reporting and to drafting recommendations.
