EODS has been hosting an Advanced Seminar for Legal Analysts in EU EOMs. The Seminar, that opened yesterday, aims to give participants an opportunity to discuss the assessment of the legal framework for elections, normative benchmarks against discrimination, the EU EOMs Guidelines for Campaign Finance and Online Content. This event is also an occasion to foster consistency for reporting and drafting of recommendations, as well as to increase operational consistency.
Fifteen experienced Legal Analysts are currently in Brussels to share experiences and practices, as well as to discuss what the Legal Analyst position entails, its status and its possible future methodological developments. The seminar will close on February 1st.
